Not at all! While prior experience in consulting is beneficial, we also welcome individuals who are new to consulting but have extensive experience working with nonprofits or communities in other capacities. Our team is here to provide the support and mentorship you need to thrive as a consultant.

As a member of the Hopeward collective, you’ll receive the full support you need to focus on doing what you do best. We handle all the logistical and business components, including contracts, insurance, invoicing, and billing, so you can focus on delivering exceptional work. We offer collaboration on projects, mentorship, and the opportunity to work alongside other consultants to create meaningful, impactful solutions for our clients.
The time commitment can vary depending on the projects you take on, but we prioritize flexibility to accommodate your schedule. Whether you’re looking for part-time work or more substantial involvement, we aim to match your expertise with the needs of our clients in a way that works for you.
At Hopeward, consultants are contractors working under 1099 arrangements, meaning you’ll have flexibility and control over your schedule and workload. Compensation is project-based, reflecting the value and expertise you bring to each initiative.
We ensure transparency in payment terms, and we handle all the business-side logistics such as contracts and invoicing, so you can focus on the work itself. Rates are discussed upfront, tailored to the specific scope and requirements of each project. This model offers consultants the freedom to choose the projects that align with their passions and availability, while also receiving fair and timely compensation for their contributions.
